Essential oils also have therapeutic properties which help promote mental and physical well being. Essential oil therapy is the use of such oils to heal the body and mind.

People have been raving about essential oil therapy and its benefits for many years.  Growing up, my mom would use vitamin E oil to grow my hair long and thick. She also used tea tree oil for my bug bites or rashes. My aunt would  give me an aromatherapy bath with lavender oil to help me sleep at night. Heck, I still take lavender baths when I am having a hard time calming down or going to bed.

It wasn’t until I went to college that I began to explore more about essential oils on my own. From my personal use and research, I outlined below some conditions which oil therapy has been known to be effective against, as well as the corresponding oil used. As someone who uses essential oils for treatments and therapy, I can a test that they are a great resource to keep around the house for everyone.
